Greg Sefton - Principle Agronomist

Greg boasts a rich 25-year tenure within the Agricultural sector, with a strong presence in the renowned Riverina region of New South Wales.

During an extensive 15-year span as an agronomist, Greg's contributions were pivotal in the Berrigan district through his affiliation with IK Caldwell. Here, he collaborated with corporate entities and private ventures, rendering indispensable agronomic and farm business counsel. Greg's proficiency spanned both irrigated farming systems and dryland enterprises, a result of his engagement with esteemed bodies like NSW DPI and Elders (Horsham and Ballarat).

In 2015, Greg embarked on the establishment of 'Sefton Agronomics', an autonomous enterprise meticulously devoted to delivering on-field guidance to farming enterprises across the dynamic Riverina region (NSW) and the fertile expanse of Goulburn Valley (VIC). His expertise extends deftly to both summer and winter crops within the realm of dryland and irrigated contexts.

Greg's academic foundation is anchored in a Bachelor of Applied Science (Agribusiness) obtained from Charles Sturt University, underscoring his commitment to advancing his knowledge within the domain.

Damian Pendlebury - Broadacre Specalist

Drawing from his family's cropping farm in Katamatite, Damien seamlessly integrates the realms of farming and agronomic guidance, forging a truly immersive experience.

Over the span of 13 dedicated years, Damien's impact on the region is undeniable. His profound agricultural acumen stems from invaluable stints at IK Caldwell and Sefton Agronomics. A penchant for precision agriculture and the seamless integration of cutting-edge machinery technology into winter cropping systems sets Damien apart. His insights encompass a wide spectrum, encompassing the production of winter and summer seed crops, cereals, canola, and even rice.

At the core of Damien's expertise is an Associate Degree in Agriculture from the University of Melbourne, Dookie Campus—a testament to his commitment to furthering his knowledge.

In 2021, Damien enacted a strategic consolidation, honing his focus to the southern expanse of the Murray River. This shift bolsters his dedication to winter crop production, extending adeptly across both dryland and irrigation contexts.

Boasting a decade of industry experience, Candice stands as an adept authority in broadacre agronomy— cultivated through tenures in Australia and Canada.

Candice's proficiency is underscored by a wealth of experience across broadacre cropping. Notably, her roles as both Manager of Agronomics Services and Agronomist underscore her comprehensive grasp of the field.

A distinctive skillset defines Candice's approach, uniquely equipping her with an extensive command of winter cropping. This specialized expertise forms the bedrock of her ability to furnish clients with expert counsel and nuanced product insights.

Candice's educational foundation is anchored by a Bachelor of Agricultural Science from Charles Sturt University—a testament to her dedication to mastering the intricacies of her domain. Additionally, her credentials include a Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) accreditation from the Prairie Provinces of Canada, further attesting to her global proficiency.

James McCaw - Broadacre Agronomist

Rooted in the agricultural landscape from a young age, James's upbringing on a family farm near Finley forms the foundation of his deep-seated agricultural affinity.

James's journey comes from various sectors within the Agricultural industry. His professional trajectory includes roles as a field officer and farm hand, where he contributed significantly to a corporate entity situated in the Western districts of Victoria. This period of his career afforded him the invaluable opportunity to immerse himself in a spectrum of activities, encompassing soil core sampling, comprehensive soil testing, subsoil manuring endeavors, and the skilled operation of spray rigs.

Armed with insights drawn from his university education, James offers a fresh perspective on agronomy and farming systems—a viewpoint that stems from his own experiences and academic knowledge. His presence within the team serves as a conduit for the application of innovative approaches and a nuanced understanding of modern agricultural dynamics.

James's educational foundation is strengthened by a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Science, from La Trobe University in Melbourne. This academic achievement serves as a testament to his commitment to acquiring a comprehensive understanding of agricultural science.

Ella Arnold - Cotton Agronomist


Ella's journey in agriculture is rooted in her upbringing on a sheep and cattle property in Northern Victoria. Her lifelong immersion in the industry she holds dear has been instrumental in shaping her path.

Embracing agronomy as her vocation, Ella's expertise shines notably in the realm of irrigated cotton. Her professional journey includes impactful roles as both a Production Agronomist and an Extension Agronomist in Southern New South Wales. Fueling her commitment to cotton production, Ella furthered her education, with attainment of a Graduate Certificate in Agriculture with a specialization in Cotton Production.

Presently, Ella resides with her husband on their cropping and livestock farm nestled in Jerilderie, Southern NSW. Her role is their business actively incorporates farm operations, financial risk analysis and agronomic expertise, this dedication extends seamlessly to her clients as well, as she employs her wealth of agricultural and agronomic experience to enhance their ventures.

Ella's academic foundation derived from a Bachelor of Agricultural Science earned from Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga.
